Proximity Payment Working Group

The Proximity Payment Working Group continually works on developing best practices for organizations to aid in the adoption and use of m-commerce. As a member-driven Forum, the group responds to activity proposals submitted from its member organizations to address issues that are at the forefront of their business plans for m-commerce. The group is presently working on an Analysis of Synergies and Conflicts for all Stakeholders within the M-Commerce Ecosystem. This deliverable will explore and address gaps within proximity payment from each stakeholders perspective, including consumers and merchants.

Mobile Marketing Task Force

You can’t have market growth without customers.  The MPF’s Mobile Marketing Task Force (MMTF) members are working together to grow the mobile market through increased consumer demand by educating consumers through various marketing channels.  This task force will also build on information provided on the MPF’s website to serve as a comprehensive resource center for organizations that are presently or prospectively working on m-commerce initiatives.
