The Mobile Payment Forum strives to keep its members informed and up-to-date on the ever-changing world of mobile commerce. As new and interesting developments occur within our organization, we will keep them posted on these pages.
On March 13-14, 2007, the MPF held their Spring 2007 Meeting in San Diego, CA, entitled "Innovative Mobile Payments Technology Showcase" which hosted a public day with attendance of over 100 individuals, representing all aspects of the mobile commerce ecosystem, who presented their technologies that are being utilized in the marketplace today. Additionally, one the second day of the plenary, the Forum conducted their technical working group sessions, focusing on challenges and developments to global mobile commerce adoption, including sharpening the focus of the remote payment working group and developing new activities around security and mobile marketing.
