Mobile Payment Processes Working Group
The goal of the Mobile Payment Processes Working Group is to ensure that a secure and interoperable infrastructure exists for conveniently processing payments in mobile technology environments.
The Group addresses activities related to the processing of mobile payment transactions in various mobile payment environments, including mobile-Internet, two way mobile messaging and mobile proximity environments.
Current and past activities include:
- Wallet Form Fill – this activity identifies the areas in which current technology may be deployed to immediately simplify the data entry, and areas which require enhancements to devices for form filling, to enable convenient payments on mobile devices.
- Third-Party Authentication - this activity identifies common requirements from mobile network operators (MNOs) and financial institutions to make use of 3rd party authentication of mobile subscribers performed by MNOs.
- Digital Transaction Records -
this activity develops standardized components that will enable the
secure and convenient provision of digital transaction records in various
mobile technology environments.
